‘The Secret History of the Garden series (Monty Don) is currently being aired on BBC2 on Sundays at 7.30am. The February 7th edition was on the 18th century garden and was really excellent. It included a section on Rousham, our destination for this year’s summer outing, and also showed some of the interior of the house. The programmes are available on iPlayer and I highly recommend this one, not just to people who may be coming on the trip, but also to anyone who has an interest in the English landscape.
